What can you see on a Darwin city tour?

Darwin city tours combine harbour history, coastal stops, tropical suburbs and public spaces rather than focusing on one attraction. Exact stops can vary with operating conditions and the selected tour.

Stokes Hill Wharf, the Esplanade and nearby harbour areas introduce Darwin’s maritime story and its connection with the sea.

Wartime and Cyclone Tracy stories

Darwin’s military history, Second World War sites and rebuilding after Cyclone Tracy form a major part of the city’s identity.

East Point, Nightcliff and other coastal areas give visitors time for short walks, sea views and photographs.

Local neighbourhoods

Rapid Creek, Fannie Bay, Cullen Bay and Nightcliff show how Darwin residents live, gather and spend time outdoors.
