Darwin By Locals is a six-hour city tour built around the places and stories that have shaped Darwin. It suits visitors who want more than a quick drive past major sights and would rather understand the city’s wartime past, rebuilding after Cyclone Tracy, multicultural identity and coastal lifestyle.
The route begins around historic Stokes Hill Wharf and follows Darwin’s harbourfront and coast. Stops and points of interest may include Charles Darwin National Park and its Second World War bunkers, Rapid Creek, Nightcliff, the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, East Point Reserve, Mindil Beach and Myilly Point.
