Accessibility Guide for Guests Traveling with ethical adventures

At ethical adventures, we strive to create inclusive and accessible experiences for all our guests. This guide provides important information to help you plan your trip comfortably and confidently.

Contact and Assistance

  • Pre-Travel Inquiries: Please contact our dedicated accessibility team at [email protected] for personalized assistance, including specific needs or concerns.
  • On-Trip Support: Our staff are experienced to support guests with various accessibility requirements. Don’t hesitate to ask for help during your journey.

Transportation

  • Vehicle Accessibility: Our fleet includes vehicles of varied sizes and capacity to facilitate better provision of personalised service that may be required.  Likewise our larger vehicle (Toyota Coaster) has been modified to include extra grab bars for guests stability when entering and exiting the bus as well as an automatic side step to decrease the step height for guests.  A secure storage area in back of the bus also allows essential equipment such as walking frames and sticks to be safely stored.
  • For your particular requirement please specify your needs prior to booking.

Accommodation

  • Accessible Lodging: We can offer suggestions on accommodations that meet accessibility standards, including wheelchair access, grab bars.
  • Special Requests: Notify us at booking about any specific accommodations needed, such as accessible rooms, quiet spaces, or assistance devices.

Activities & Excursions

  • Adaptive Equipment: Some activities can be adapted with equipment or modified to suit different abilities. Please inform us of any requirements.
  • Risk Assessments: Safety is a priority. Our team conducts thorough assessments to ensure accessibility and safety for all participants. Provision of experience and inclusion in tours is subject to the outcome of the safety assessments for the guests in question and the experience desired.  On occasion conditions may preclude participation in PUBLIC tour experiences however our team remain willing to explore PRIVATE* options that allow even further enhanced support from our staff.
    • *Companion animals are welcome on private tours however not on public experiences
    • * Guests requiring a wheel chair will be offered private tour options

Facilities & Amenities

  • Signage & Communication: We use clear signage and offer materials in accessible formats (large print).

Additional Support

  • Companion & Caregiver: Guests requiring assistance are welcome to bring a companion or caregiver at a reduced rate (on application).
  • Emergency Procedures: Our emergency protocols are designed to accommodate diverse needs. Please inform us of any specific medical or mobility considerations so we can prepare an appropriate management plan.
